Soul Train honored Brandy and Teddy Riley
Pure Truth LLC Monday November 28, 2016 Last night at the Soul Train Awards legendary 90s singers Brandy Norwood and Teddy Riley were honored.
Jill Scott presented Brandy with the Lady of Soul Award. The singer gave the audience a sample performance of songs such as “The Boy Is Mine,” “Almost Doesn’t Count,” “What About Us,” and “Talk About Our Love.”
Teddy Riley who is known as “new jack swing” which a sound come from the 90s, hit the stage which stars such as Guy, Bobby Brown, Doug E. Fresh, Wrechx-N-Effect, V. Bozeman and Tito Jackson.
Teddy Riley and Bobby Brown performed “My Prerogative.” Tito Jackson hit the stage playing guitar as Riley sang Michael Jackson’s, “Remember The Time.”
Wrechx-N-Effect performed their classic Rump Shaker.
