Led Zepplin attorney’s want 800K
Pure Truth LLC Saturday July 9, 2016 Led Zepplin was being sued over their 1971 song “Stairway to Heaven.” The suite was filed by the estate of Randy Wolfe for copyright infringement of the 1968 instrumental song “Taurus.”
Publishing company Warner/Chappell are seeking approximately eight-hundred thousand dollars (800K) in fees, which include payment for attorneys and other charges.
If Led Zepplin would have lost the case, the group would have to payout ten (10) million dollars.
