Adrian Foggie also known as AD is a hip hop artist out of South Carolina, who won first place at the Atlanta Hood Idol Tour, which was hosted by Souf State Connected CEO Lex Luga. His stage presence and audience engagement, captured the judges attention when he performed his hot new singles, “I Love It” and “They Mad.”
PT: When did you begin, to take your music seriously?
AD: It was at the age of seventeen (17) when I really became focused.
Unfortunately, I ended up in prison and had to take a short break and came back in the game, at the age of twenty (20).
PT: How did it feel, to win the Atlanta Hood It Tour?
AD: It felt amazing. It motivated me to keep pushing to the next level.
PT: Who produced your main single, “I Love It?”
AD: The single was produced by J Real.
PT: What was the concept behind, “I Love It?”
AD: “I Love It,” is about me. It describes everything I love.
PT: How would you describe your sound and who do you think you are most similar to?
AD: My sound is unique and versatile. In my opinion, there is no one in the game, who I sound like.
PT: What other projects are you working on?
AD: Right now, I am working on videos for “I Love It” and “They Mad,” which I have not set a release date for.
PT: Who directed the video?
AD: Troy Williams out of South Carolina, directed the footage.
